Love the message board!
OK, here is a question for you experts:
Between half innings, defensive team takes the field and the pitcher begins his warm-up tosses. His coach then leaves the dugout and goes to the mound to confer briefly with the pitcher, returns to the dugout and the pitcher completes his warm-up.
Charged defensive conference or not?
Does it matter whether the pitcher had been in the game pitching the previous inning or is a new pitcher starting that inning?
I consider it a charged conference because the players were on the field and the coach was in the dugout, but had a coach argue that there are no charged conferences until after the first pitch of the inning.
Ruling?

Good Job! This would be a trip. The next half inning starts when the last out is recorded of the previous half inning.
